Alexandria Barney holds a Master of Social Work degree from The College of Saint Scholastica. She also holds a BA in Psychology and Early Childhood Studies from the University of Minnesota Duluth. With several years of experience working with youth, young children, and caregivers, Alexandria is dedicated to supporting her clients' mental health and well-being.
Alexandria utilizes a trauma-focused, strengths-based approach to collaborate with clients, offering a supportive and judgment-free environment. Her goal is to work closely with individuals to help them navigate life’s challenges. She has training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Relational Cultural Therapy (RCT). Alexandria has some education and knowledge of Play Therapy, Early Childhood Development and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
In her free time Alexandria enjoys adventuring outdoors, exploring new hobbies, and spending time with family and friends.
