My name is Travis Peterson, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Social Work degree at the College of St. Scholastica. While it took some time for me to determine my career path, I ultimately discovered that social work is the field I am passionate about and wish to pursue professionally.
I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and pets, and I have a strong passion for rescuing animals and helping them find safe and loving homes. I am an avid Minnesota sports fan, with the Timberwolves being my favorite team to watch.
I am excited to be completing my placement with Birch and Pine Counseling, where I am exploring various therapeutic modalities to further develop my clinical interests. I have particularly enjoyed my coursework in Relational-Cultural Theory, which has positively influenced my current clinical practice.
