Birch & Pine Counseling offers professionally supported Canine Support Services designed to promote emotional regulation, comfort, connection, and resilience across our community.
Our trained canine-handler teams provide a calm, nonjudgmental presence, supporting individuals of all ages — especially during high-stress situations, grief, crisis events, and trauma-related experiences.
These services are trauma-informed and intended to complement—not replace—clinical mental health services, chaplain services, or emergency services.
Birch & Pine Canine teams are available for scheduled and on-call support in a variety of community settings:
